Advanced Fly Tying Series
The Game Changer

with Dagur Gudmundsson

The Game Changer is one of the most innovative flies to hit the market in recent years, allowing a fly tier to effectively imitate most every baitfish species realistically.  It is endlessly customizable with materials from feathers, deer hair, and dubbing brushes all being used to achieve different looks and motions. For this class we will be focusing on the dubbing brush as a body material for the fly, feather tails, and how to best trim your fly to achieve a fish catching action. Dagur has extensive knowledge of what makes a good Game Changer, having spent a whole year fishing nothing but Game Changers for bass in order to properly understand what makes them tick, and how to tie them to best imitate forage fish.

The course fee covers custom dubbing brushes made by Dagur, shanks, hooks, feathers, thread, and eyes for the fly.

(Limited to 5 students)

Date: January 8, January 9 (2 separate classes)

Time: 6:00PM to 9:00PM

Fee: $150.00/person (all tools & materials provided)
